The Mexico Central District held a breakfast for pastors’ wives on Feb. 16. Irene Zabaleta, the district superintendent’s wife, organized the event held at the district house in Mexico City. Fifteen women attended.

It was a blessed time for the women, especially since they had not held similar events before. They used the time to share, get to know one another and pray for each other.

They achieved the goal to create a directory of the attendees. They planned a follow-up event as well as a retreat in which they could have a special time with the Holy Spirit.

Though a few pastors’ wives did not attend the breakfast, the majority did attend, which encouraged the organizer to continue in the process. Even though the district is large, the participants made the effort to attend and enjoyed a blessed time.
