A training event for Nazarene Mission International (MNI) Caribbean Field leaders took place at a local Church of the Nazarene in St. Philip, Barbados, 12 to 14 July.

Over 85 district leaders from: Dominica, West Jamaica, Leewards/Virgin Islands, French Antilles, French Guiana, Suriname, Winward Islands, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados, attended the training event. Among the participants was Rev. Orlando Seale, president of the Caribbean Nazarene College; Dr. Margaret Eversly, the former Caribbean Field NMI coordinator, and Rev. Martel Farley, superintendent in the host district. Rev. Farley shared the Word of God during the devotional times and during the evenings.

The trainers were: Ms. Lola Brickey, NMI global director; Dr. Carlos Sáenz, Mesoamerica regional director who was joined by his wife Mrs. Rosa de Sáenz; Ms. Ana María Crocker, NMI regional coordinator, Mr. Dario Richards from Global Mission in the Caribbean Field, Rev. Leonard Grant, Work and Witness Coordinator in Trinidad and Tobago and Rev. Donnamie Ali, Caribbean Field NMI coordinator.

The event was organized by Rev. Donnamie Ali, and the Barbados District NMI president Rev. Deborah Edgill, and a team of volunteers. During this event, participants were challenged, and they had the opportunity to learn and to enjoy the fellowship amongst each other.

The event concluded with a cultural presentation from each of the islands represented.
