On Sunday, January 3rd, 2016 for the second consecutive year; the Tampico Church of the Nazarene in Mexico, collected in a single day, their total annual offering for the World Evangelism Fund.
This method emerged as an initiative from the pastor and the NMI president. The plan was for the congregation to give a special love offering in support of missions on the first Sunday of the year.
The offering was promoted during the month of December with some videos and motivations from the pastor. The amount deposited by the faithful members is the equivalent to a week’s salary.
