From August 20th to 22nd 2014, as part of a Maximum Mission by the Nicaragua North District of the Church of the Nazarene, the residents of the communities of Los Ranchos and El Coyolito came together to repair a road in poor condition. During the winter this road is impassable, affecting the mobilization of children to school and the sick people to the city. Forty-four families put all their efforts in this important task; working, providing materials and tools, including their oxen.

The Church of the Nazarene supported each family with a food parcel, thus helping in the midst of the difficult situation in which people traverse because of the drought. They also provided some materials for repairs. During the three days of work they shared the Word of God and conducted Bible classes with 30 children; 17 of them, including teenagers, received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They also prayed for sufficient rain and for the next planting season to be plentiful.

Los Ranchos community committee coordinator was satisfied with the work done by the people and the Church.
