The Panama Central District organized the second Church of the Nazarene in the indigenous Guna district of Wagandy, located in the Tabardi community.

District Superintendent Carlos de la Cruz attended the celebration along with Panama Evangelism Coordinator Amable Polanco, the national NMI and NYI presidents, and the missional zone planters.

Pastor Amable Polanco led the event, which was translated into the Guna language by a guide. They sang praises to God in their local language. They thanked the brothers and sisters from the Colorado District, USA, for their help in this great achievement. Rev. de la Cruz shared the message from the Lord and prayed for the church and community. Abel Boller, the first pastor in the Guna area, translated the message and prayers.

The saila (the highest authority in the community) expressed his gratefulness to the church for the work that they have done in the community.

The Panama Central District asks for your prayers for the expansion of the church in the various regions of Panama.
