Church Planting Training in Haiti

Sixty-three people from all 12 districts in Haiti participated in a Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI) training August 22 – 24 at the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Haiti. Eight district superintendents and various pastors attended the event.

It was an intense training. Each day the participants worked for 8 hours, including leadership meetings. Fifty-six people completed the training and received the certification.

“Despite the challenges that arose from differences in language and culture, they triumphantly completed the program,” said Regional Evangelism Coordinator Bernie Slingerland.

The Evangelism Coordinator in Haiti, Pierre Ernst Jacques, was among that group that worked to organize the successful event.
