At the close of the Cuba East and West District assemblies, the Nazarene Seminary of the Americas (SENDAS) celebrated graduations for several different programs. Among them were the Diploma, Bachelors and Certificate in Youth Ministry Programs, in which 20 youth leaders – 8 from the East District and 12 from the West District – received their diplomas. They were presented by SENDAS leaders Dr. Carlos Saenz, Regional Director, and Dr. David Graves, General Superintendant. Also present was the Central Area Nazarene Youth International (NYI) Coordinator Gabriela Bustos.

Gabriela Bustos said, “The satisfactory effort of each young person is in answer to the work done by the NYI regional leaders. Our coordinator, Milton Gay, and the director of the regional Youth Pastor program, Odily Diaz, helped and coordinated each course along with SENDAS personnel. NYI in Cuba grew every day. They are focused on being infectious in sharing the message of Chris so that they can be the channel God uses for the growth of the Church in this beautiful country.”
