April 7-9, 2017 the Olmeca District in Mexico held their second Cross Cultural Orientation at the First Church of the Nazarene in Coatzacoalcos. There were twelve participants along with the Global Mission Coordinator in South Mexico, Claudia Cruz. The youth from the local church also helped in the event.

The workshops and activities guided the participants to understand that the call of God is the responsibility of the entire church.

Marleidy Sanchez said, “I know that God is confirming specific calls to the mission field. I also know that these young people have learned the importance of contributing and helping their local church in its mission work. It was a great blessing to share with these youth and together address the concerns and doubts that they had when we shared the material. It was a time of learning and challenge. The completion of the Great Commission is the work of everyone.”
