Saturday, May 17 2014, the Puerto Rico West District conducted simultaneous workshops in a joint effort by SDMI, NMI and NYI, in the Charles Bailey Church of the Nazarene in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.

The NYI offered a workshop on a discipleship plan through the Daniel Project, whose author and coordinator is Sister Natja Nieves, a leader in the North Zone of the country.  Twenty-six leaders attended the workshop from all areas of the District. The heart of the Daniel Project is connecting youth from different churches of the Nazarene in informal meetings, where growth of life in Christ and the development of meaningful friendships that last is promoted.

“The NYI council thanked the Lord for the opportunity to serve, and thanked pastors and leaders as well for the support they have given us for the development of this important project.”
