Hundreds of delegates, pastors and visitors met at the Dominican Nazarene Seminary on Sunday, Jan. 21, to celebrate the 43rd annual Central District Assembly. General Superintendent in Jurisdiction Dr. David Graves, his wife, Sharon Graves, Regional Director Dr. Luis Carlos Saenz, and missionaries serving in the Dominican Republic also attended the event.
The assembly opened with a time of praise and worship, followed by Dr. Graves preaching the Word of God.
Following the sermon was a special ordination ceremony for Pastor Magalis De Shall.

The business of the assembly followed, beginning with the District Superintendent Rev. Ernesto Bathermy’s report. He highlighted the impressive gains of the previous year.

After a time to recognize and thank the General Superintendent and his wife, the Regional Director continued to direct the business of the assembly in which they heard several reports. “It was an emotional time when he called the pastors up so the brothers and sisters from their respective churches could come forward to pray for them,” said Carlos De La Cruz, Panama Central District Superintendent.
