On Sunday June 28th, the First Church of the Nazarene in Panama’s Indigenous area in the community of Quebrada Cali Wagandi, Guna Yala Region.

With great joy, the Superintendent of Panama’s Central District, Rev. Carlos de la Cruz guided congregations and brothers from different churches of the district to the opening of the church and the dedication of a dining room. Afterwards, the celebration, led by the pastor of the New Church “Fuente de Vida”, Brother Abel Lopez Oller continued in the sanctuary

The highest authority of the Indigenous Region (Comarca), the Saila, gave words of appreciation to the superintendent for this new church in the community. After seeing the interest in helping the people, he approved the church on this site.

There was a beautiful and joyful time of praising the Lord in Spanish and in the Guna, language (language of the community). Then, the superintendent brought the message to the people, translated by Brother Palestino, who emphasized the love of God for all. He also prayed for the sick.

This was how the new “Fuente de Vida” Church of the Nazarene was inaugurated as part of the Panama Central District.

Praise God for this new congregation in Mesoamerica!, We welcome them to our community of faith.

Let’s keep this church, our new brothers and sisters in Quebrada Cali and their leaders, Pastor Abel and his family in our prayers
