The Mesoamerica Region Global Mission team met for their annual ministry retreat from Sept. 26-30 in La Romana, Dominican Republic. The coordinators from all 5 regional fields, along with Regional GM Coordinators Scott and Emily Armstrong, had a time of reflection, prayer and conversation about how to improve and advance how to find, train and send more missionaries.

The field coordinators are: Claudia Cruz and Maria Eugenia Rodriguez (Mexico), Marc Versil (Haiti), Luz Jimenez (North Central Field), Freya Galindo (Central) and Dario Richards (Caribbean). They shared about what God is doing in each area. “Glory to God bec ause he is calling many to the mission field!” said Freya Galindo.

The participants noted that they heard the voice of God in several ways, especially in the times of prayer when the team opened their hearts and asked the Lord to guide their planes for the future and the decisions that they were making. They also recognized that, as a team, they are not working for God, but are truly working with God.

On the last day they interceeded for the 34 countries that make up the Mesoamerica Region as well as the leadership in every field, district and local church.

“We invite you to join with us in prayer for Global Mission, that God would continue to raise up more missionaries through this ministry to impact the nations,” Galindo said.
