The Charlesburg Church of the Nazarene in Suriname hosted a combined service of all 16 Churches of the Nazarene in the country on Mar. 3. There were over two hundred people in attendance, which included the Apoera, Haitian, Saramacaan and Dutch churches.

The Chairperson was Rev. Eric Hitzert. The service was translated into Haitian Creole and Sranan Tongo, which is a local dialect spoken and understood by most of the migrant population.

Rev. Errol Viera from the Ozone Park Church of the Nazarene in Queens, New York was the guest speaker.

“It was truly a grand time of celebration where we saw the anointing of God’s divine power on His servant Rev. Errol Viera as he delivered the Word of God,” said Augustus Andrews, Caribbean Communications.
