The Northeast Dominican Republic District celebrated its annual assembly on Jan. 19 at the Bonao Church of the Nazarene.
The general superintendent in jurisdiction, Dr. David Graves, presided. Attending with him were his wife, Sharon, and Regional Director Dr. Luis Carlos Saenz.
Rev. Graves challenged the pastors, delegates, missionaries and many visitors in attendance with the Word of the Lord. District Superintendent Rev. Felix Planco shared in his report that the district added 342 new members and organized two new churches. He also shared the projections for 2020.
The event closed with Pastor Evelyn Gaton’s ordination service.
“The assembly closed with in harmony and appreciation with thank you’s, gifts and recognitions,” said Carlos De La Cruz, Panama Central District Superintendent.
