From March 2nd to the 6th, 2017, a Maximum Mission was held in the Guna and Embera Villages of Panama, with the participation of young people from the Central District and a group of from Colorado, USA. The activity was coordinated by Pastor Amable Polanco, Panama Evangelism Ministry.

The team worked in the communities: Tabardi, Tres Piedras, Torti and Ighandi, where activities such as: Bible School, Jesus Film presentation and soccer tournaments were held. Also, boxes from Samaritan’s Purse were delivered. The boxes contained, toys and toiletries.

It was a week with great challenges, with different cultures and long journeys by boat and on foot, but also a victorious journey with God’s blessing and support as a total of 355 people invited Jesus into their hearts, including the driver of the bus that transported the team.

In addition, we are already working on building 4 new churches in this area of the country. With the “Pastor Blas” boat that was donated recently by the children of the Colorado District, USA, there are great expectations of what the Lord will do there and in more communities of the region.
