The time of district assemblies closed in Guatemala with assemblies in the Central and Northwest Districts.

Guatemala Central District

The Guatemala Central District held its 40th annual assembly Mar. 13 at the MICASA Church of the Nazarene. Regional Director Carlos Saenz, Field Strategy Coordinator Rev. Leonel De Leon and General Superintendent Dr. David Graves presided. District Superintendent Rev. Cesar Augusto Ayala shared in his report that the projection for this year is to organize 5 new churches and open 20 new missions. He reported that the district currently includes 907 members, 50 organized churches, 21 missions and 2 missions that are ready to be organized. The time closed with an ordination service for 2 new ordained elders, led by Dr. Graves.

Guatemala Northwest District

The Guatemala Northwest District held its 4th annual assembly on Mar. 15. After sharing the Word of God, the Field Strategy Coordinator asked the District Advisory Board to give their report. District Superintendent Rev. Edgar Figueroa followed with his report. He mentioned that 8 new members were baptized this year. The district includes 17 preaching points and closed the year with 763 members. The assembly ended with an installation service for the District Advisory Board. The Rev. Figueroa was reelected to two more years of service.
