On May 1st, 2nd and 3rd, the community of San Antonio Nejapa, municipality of Acatenango, Chimaltenango, Guatemala, was visited by 26 young people and adults from various churches in the Central District, for a Maximum Mission event under the slogan “Living the Great Commission” Mark 16:15.

Several activities were held and in each of them God’s blessing was felt by both, the community people and the young participants. The group stayed in the village’s elementary school classrooms, where they worked painting the school basketball court and the community basketball court. They also presented the “Goal Project” where 70 youth and children participated. Guitar and drums lessons were also given to 15 teenagers.

Eighty children attended the Bible school and 35 houses were visited to share the Gospel message through the EvangeCube. At night, despite the rain, the JESUS Film was presented with 50 people in attendance, where some of them accepted Jesus as their Savior. Praise the Lord! They also provided Bibles and New Testaments to those that accepted the Message of the Word.

In addition, there was a medical journey in which free assistance, anti parasites medicines, vitamins and medications (according to the medical diagnosis) were provided to 127 persons, . Two Nazarenes dentists treated a total of 30 people.

Children received toys and stuffed animals during all activities and on the last day they were given clothing.

“We thank God for allowing this activity in which we share the love of Christ with the people in the community and for all the people who collaborated for the purchase of everything we used.

May honor and glory be given to the Lord! ”
