After the two recent earthquakes in Mexico, the Church of the Nazarene continues to work to meet the needs of those affected.

Thursday, Sept. 21, the Nazarene Medical Team traveled to the Seventh Section in Juchitán, Oaxaca, where they are serving with the help of more volunteers who have joined forces to help. The new volunteers include some foreigners: Dr. Rosana Nyreen and Alberto Morera from Costa Rica and Dr. Rene Rivas from Guatemala.

A Nazarene Medical Team was placed in the CREA Church of the Nazarene in San Gregoria, Xochimilco. The team is organizing the response and people affected by the earthquake are being served through the church.

Cutberto Tenorio of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Mexico said, “We are grateful for the unconditional help from Raquel González, Diana López and Alejandra Hernández. God bless the professional call of these young people who have responded to the need voluntarily and without personal reward.”
