An Amazing Summer, by Claudia Cruz, Mexico South Field GM Coordinator

We are experiencing an awakening of God in the lives of young people and adults in our local churches; many are being part of short-term mission projects. In Mexico South, we offer the opportunity to be volunteer missionaries for a period of 21 days in what we call Project Paul (PP). Its purpose is to plant new churches or consolidate Missions Type Churches (MTC), and occasionally restart organized churches.

Some details of what is happening in the summer of 2014:

In the South District, 5 young people serving as volunteers in the community of Francisco I. Madero, Jiquipilas municipality, Chiapas, from July 7th to July the 20th, under the leadership of Jose Angel Cervantes, District GM Coordinator. They are amazed at what God has done and will continue doing there. Lives have been transformed.

In South Border District, 16 young and people adults joined the PP to impact eight communities, they are very happy to serve God, Caleb Roberto Lopez, GM Coordinator in his district began the work since July 13th and he will continue until August 2nd. He is being also challenged to bring the COM to his district, as many young people want to be trained to serve in the kingdom of God.

Also, 8 young people from the Mexico South Field participated in the PP in Veracruz, from June 30th to July 13th, joining young people from North Mexico Field, with a total of 16 participants, plus Genesis 3 young missionaries, they worked in La Loma, Veracruz.

We praise God that He is raising up a generation of young people passionate about the healing and salvation of people and passionate about serving. Praise God for the lives being transformed at each site through the testimony of each of these brave young people who are crossing the threshold from the possible to the impossible.
