During the months of May, June and July of 2018, the Mexico Field received the regional missionary couple, Wilfredo Marciaga and Ana Zoila Díaz, who reside in Panama.
So far the missionaries have visited churches in Chiapas, Veracruz and Oaxaca, where they have reminded people the importance of WEF (World Evangelism Fund) to support the mission work around the world. They praised and congratulated the districts that have faithfully sent their WEF and Mission Special Approved.
They have shared about “Loyalty and Commitment” with God’s work, Ana Zoila stressed that “as we work with faithfulness and commitment in the Lord’s business, He takes care of our problems.” They talked about how God keeps his promise to never forsake his people, and that it is worth saying “yes” to the Lord.
They highlighted important statistics of the Global Church, including the denomination’s presence in 162 countries, with two and a half million members, 30 thousand churches, 479 districts, and 700 missionaries deployed. They also shared about the work they do at the regional office and at the Chorrera Church of the Nazarene, where they attend. They shared their prayer requests and each church had the opportunity to pray for them.
The missionaries will soon visit the: Michoacán, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí zones as well as the Central District.
The Mexico Field was very grateful for this blessed time through the Marciaga-Díaz visit.
