Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, a group of young people and adults prepared to respond to the needs caused by the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that hit Tuesday in Mexico City. The Central District office has become a donation center where they are preparing packages of food and basic products to send to the Xochimilco zone, which was seriously affected.

District Superintendent Rev. Pascual Cruz serves as the coordinator of the center along with a team of volunteers. Carlos de Leon is serving as the operations coordinator.
