On September 28 of 2013, the Churches of the Nazarene in Nicaragua got together for a national, interdenominational celebration. It was the 444th anniversary of the Spanish Bible. Colorful floats, songs, and other things swept through the streets of Managua.

At the event, the Church of the Nazarene and its leaders’ strong attendance was notable. They contributed to this organization.

The “Soledad de la Cruz” Church of the Nazarene had 400 participants. Nazarene leaders from Somoto moved people from the rural areas and the following communities: Sonís, El Rodeo, El Cairo, Hermanos Martínez, El Melonar, Trápagas, San Luis, La Carbonera and Cacaulí. All of them sang accompanied by the accordion, tambourines, and guitars as they paraded through the main streets of the city.

This information came from: Rev. Denis Espinoza, superintendent, Nicaragua North District.
