The NCM team from the Nicaragua Central District and a group of young people, Nazarene Volunteers in Action, are working together packing and organizing donations received by the church in Nicaragua and regional NCM to be delivered to the church in Bilwi and its surrounding community that were affected by hurricanes Eta and Iota. Bilwi is located on the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua.

As of today, this team has spent 3 days packing more than 1000 bags that contain food like rice, beans, oil, salt coffe, spaghetti, soup, and other items such as packages of clothing for a complete family.

Cristofer Jaime of Central District Communications said, “We thank all of those who donated items and the churches that made contributions to help the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua.”

We encourage you to continue interceding for Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and all of the other countries affected. Also pray for the Nazarene leadership facing these great challenges. Remember you can be part of the relief efforts at: ncm.org/2020stormresponse.
