In Somoto, Madriz, Nicaragua North District, evangelicals celebrated the 445 anniversary of the translation of the Bible into Spanish. It consisted of a 3 special days of celebration.

The celebration began on September 26th with a night of prayer for the country, they traveled with the Salvation’s torch accompanied by a parade on the 27th; and on the 28th, hundreds of people marched through the main streets of the city ending with a special celebration.

Nazarenes people joined the celebration, where in addition to Somoto Church, attended rural churches and missions Carbonera, Cacaulì, Cairo, Martinez Brothers, The Melonar, Sonis and Rodeo. For the mobilization of these congregations they had the support of the “United House” Foundation who covered transportation costs. Brother Bob Moore leads this foundation.

There were also celebrations in San Isidro, Ocotal, Jalapa, Dipilto, Jinotega, Sébaco and Soledad de la Cruz, in which the Nazarene congregations participated actively with floats, music and choreography. In places like San Isidro and Soledad de la Cruz, Nazarene leaders led the organization and the celebrations.
