Helen Herrera, a volunteer Costa Rican missionary for the Mesoamerica GENESIS regional project, will travel to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in approximately two months, for training prior to being sent to her assignment site. Meanwhile she has shared the vision of Genesis and the powerful testimony of how God changed her life with the churches of the Costa Rica Central District. Below she shares with us a brief testimony. Join us in praying for the life of Helen; visit the web sites below where you can find more ways to bless her ministry.

“New Beginnings”

These two words form a short sentence describing a great project for the extension of God’s kingdom in the Mesoamerica Region; “Genesis” is the name of this visionary project that aims to plant new churches in 28 urban centers in our region.

During the last two months I’ve been sharing about the project with the churches in the Costa Rica Central District, I must say it has been a privilege for me to help my district be involved in this so very important project. I’ve been surprised by the support churches are giving me. I can say that I am not alone in this, I am confident that God will continue to show me His support through the people He has placed around me.

It’s time for new beginnings in my life, it is true that God is bringing blessings I did not expect. It is really amazing and I am enjoying everything new that is happening in both my personal life and ministry.
