Last weekend, the first national Youth Bible Quizzing (YBQ) certification was held at the NTS Christian Convention Center in Guatemala City. Forty-three people, representing 9 districts, attended the event. This is the first country from the North Central Field to reach such certification, which aims to train leaders to serve as judges and competition committee trainers, both nationally and on the field. It is noteworthy that the group was trained with the strengthened regulations for the entire region exposed in July in Nicaragua.

Alfredo Perez from El Salvador and Christian Tonches, from Mexico, who are part of the Regional YBQ team, attended the event.

Laura Campos said: “We bless each participant for such an important decision to be trained to better serve the Lord and their teams for improving the acquired knowledge and becoming a channel to strengthen the YBQ ministry in their district. Thank God for these initiatives that contribute to further strengthen the YBQ in our countries, motivating our youth to become more interested in the ways of the Lord, turning it into a discipleship ministry that seeks to study the word of God, integration and creating friendships in adolescents and young people. ”
