This 40-day emphasis is uniquely designed to help churches mobilize and develop life-long habits of daily Scripture engagement. WHY ENGAGE THE WORD?

- Reading the Word of God four times a week or more has a significant impact on a person’s life view, habits, and choices.
- Studies from the Center for Bible Engagement discovered those who engage in Bible reading four or more times per week experience a higher level of health and emotional stability.
- Young people engaged in reading Scripture at least four times a week are less likely to be involved in sex outside of marriage, gambling, drugs, pornography, or other risky behaviors.
