On Wednesday, February 3, 2016, the 49th Panama Central District assembly was held in the Auditorium of the University of Panama.
The event began at 9:30 am, led by the district superintendent, Rev. Carlos de la Cruz and presided by General Superintendent, Dr. Jerry Porter and Regional Director, Dr. Carlos Saenz.
The General Superintendent preached a message that urged the district and pastors to change strategies and raise their forecast for the 2020 Vision. The pastors and elders gave testimonies of God’s power There was a time of prayer for the family of Rev. Edelmira Rodriguez, former pastor of the Church of the Nazarene in Progreso, Puerto Caimito, Chorrera, who went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2016.
