The four district superintendents of Nicaraguan districts — María Antonia Ponce (Central), Gerardo Reyes (South), Carlos Peña (South East), and Denis Espinoza (North) – met March 26-27 in San Jorge, Rivas, Nicaragua, to continue working towards opening a campus in Nicaragua for the Nazarene Theological Seminary.

Dr. Roberto Hodgson, who is consulting on the project, also attended the meeting in which they covered a variety of topics, beginning by evaluating the progress that has been made up to this point.  They also reviewed and approved a budget, identified infrastructure projects, named a chaplain and academic coordinator, set a calendar, created a course list and identified a teaching team.

Twelve students from across the four districts of the country will begin classes in January 2020.

District Superintendent Denis Espinoza asks the church to pray for this important project for Nicaragua.
