On October 25 to 27, Jamaica East and West Districts had the privilege of hosting a Sunday School and Discipleship Ministry (SDMI) leadership training seminar in Mandeville, Jamaica, led by Rev Monte Cyr, Mesoamerica Region SDMI Ministries Coordinator. There were 23 persons in attendance.
The topics that were presented were informative. Topics included: Recruiting and Retaining leaders, How to effectively teach and lead Sunday School and small groups, Discipleship, Effective Teaching, and Where is Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries going.
“Leaders were passionate about going back to their local churches to put this training into action”.
