998511_10201421801609050_1372369930_nDavid Gil is a pastor, church planter, and minister in the “La Vega, House of Prayer and Revival” Church of the Nazarene in the northeastern district of the Dominican Republic. He was in Curacao from June 23 until July 8 for an art exposition (he is not only a minister but also an artist).

He visited the country for 15 days, and during that time he had the opportunity to evangelize a Dominican family of 6 people. The entire family accepted the Gospel message with open arms and decided to follow the Lord together. In addition, our brother David Gil shared the Word of God in a poor community, where the salvation message was received with much joy. Two days before returning, the message of hope, through the “EvangeCube”, reached a maid at the hotel where he had been staying. This woman from Curacao also decided to follow the Lord. Curacao has a large Hispanic community; among them are people from Venezuela, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic.

Familia que aceptó al Señor

Pastor David Gil is working to get a permanent contact that will support this new Nazarene family.

It is important to highlight that the evangelism team from the Region has been praying for and planning a strategy for entering Curacao. They have seen God answering and how the Holy Spirit is already clearing the way before them.

Brothers and sisters of the Mesoamerica Region, if you have read this article, we invite you to join us in prayer for our new brothers and sisters in Curacao. Let’s pray for the growth of the church in that area, especially for the leaders that will be leading this great work. Let’s pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance and strength in their hearts.
