The South Sierra de Chiapas District in Mexico, held its 18th Assembly in La Concordia on November 20th, 2016. The District Superintendent, Rev. Manuel Molina Flores gave his 17th and last report, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Socorro and their children, Juan Manuel and Keyla. Brother Manuel is taking a new assignment in the North of Mexico as Border Initiative Coordinator.

The Regional Director was present with the General Superintendent in Jurisdiction, Rev. Jerry Porter, who led the assembly and launched the Vision 2020 challenge to leaders. Pastors enthusiastically fulfilled their promises of faith.

In addition, there was the presentation of the 29th Church of the South Sierra district, Nueva Esperanza Church, located in the Dolores de la Concordia colony with its pastor, Selli Carelli. The church was organized in this ecclesiastical period.

The group of local-licensed and district-licensed ministers who reported to the Assembly were also introduced.
