The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church is the second Sunday of November, as set by the World Evangelical Alliance. Nazarene Missions International through the Church of the Nazarene encourages all Nazarenes to united with Christians across the globe to dedicate a time of prayer focused on those suffering for the cause of Christ.

“If we understood the potential power of our prayers, we would be on our knees one hundred times a day asking Him for things that would turn the world upside down,” said Andrew Van Der Bijl, better known as Brother Andrew, the founder of Open Doors.
